Kawasaki motorcycles have been assembled in the United States for several decades. The Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A. (KMM), a subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., began operations in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1974. KMM primarily focuses on the assembly and production of motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and Jet Ski personal watercraft for the North American market.
Over the years, Kawasaki has expanded its manufacturing capabilities and facilities in the United States. Today, they have multiple plants and assembly facilities across the country, including Lincoln, Nebraska.
